The Gallery... a stylish retreat by the beach
Less than a mile from Upcott House is The Gallery. Located in the centre of the beautiful seaside village of Beer, The Gallery is a well appointed three-bedroom townhouse set within an elegant 18th Century 'Smuggling House'
Until recently an art exhibition space, The Gallery has been extensively refurbished and now sleeps up to six people comfortably - and only a
two-minute stroll to the beach!
Below the Gallery is Lily Brown, a funky gift shop run by our friends Melanie and Rebecca. They also have a great range of childrens clothes so do drop in and have a look around...
Ground Floor Reception
Entry is via a quiet and private lane into a spacious room featuring original 1701 stonework and panelling. A small utility with washer/dryer is located under the stairs leading to upper floors. There is also plenty of space for storing buggies, beachware, etc
1st Floor Bedrooms
All our beds are solid natural wood, with sprung slats and hotel-grade,
Vi-Spring mattresses. All rooms are beautifully designed and come complete with silk blackout blinds, cotton bath sheets, bed linen and toiletries - more like a cosy boutique hotel than a holiday cottage!

Second Bedroom - King size bed, village views
Twin Bedroom - two generous single beds, side view towards Church
Luxury bathroom - double sinks, shower bath, toilet
2nd Floor 'Gallery'
Once a secret rum store, the spacious top floor 'Gallery' features original oak beams and stonework
Kitchen - double oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, sink, fridge and freezer
Dining Area - leather chairs, extendable table seating six, plus highchair
Lounge Area - leather sofa and chairs, coffee table, large LCD TV with Freesat and DVD, air cooler
Parking

*Please note the lane leading to the parking area is narrow and not suitable for very large vehicles
Beautifully furnished property and very comfortable beds, ideal for walkers!
